Dr. Jennifer Cameron OD
Dr. Jennifer Cameron is a Chicago native and proud graduate of the University of Chicago and Illinois College of Optometry. After graduation she tried several practices but decided Custom Eyes patient first approach was her ideal fit. For the last 14 years she has happily served the north side in their Roscoe Village office. Jen and her budding family loves being a part of the neighborhood and forming strong relationships with her patients.

Dr. Casey Crumbliss OD
Dr. Crumbliss grew up in Kansas before attending Northeastern State University of Oklahoma for his undergraduate studies in cellular biology.
After college, he completed his optometric degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2003. It was at ICO that he met Dr Sculley. They opened CustomEyes immediately upon graduating, and have been operating the practice together ever since. During his years of practice, Dr. Crumbliss has developed a special interest in hard to fit soft contact lenses.
Dr. Crumbliss resides in the northside of Chicago with his wife and 2 children. He is an avid sports fan of all kinds, and especially enjoys being involved in his kid's youth hockey and baseball teams.

Dr. Scott Hansen OD
Dr. Scott Hansen grew up in Orland Park, Illinois and completed his undergraduate studies at Augustana College in Rock Island IL. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry studies at Illinois College of Optometry. While attending ICO, Dr. Hansen trained in a variety of practice settings including a VA hospital in Alabama, an O.D./M.D practice in Arizona, and small private practices in Illinois. He was able to study a wide variety of eye conditions but discovered he has a passion for treating patients with dry eye and takes an individualized patient-first approach to each case.
Scott currently resides in Lakeview with his wife and two hairless cats, Moira and Mezzi. He is always looking to check off a new restaurant from his "must try" list as well as discovering all the breweries Chicago has to offer. He never misses a Bears game, catches Cubs games as often as possible, and is always attempting to improve his golf game.

Dr. Genna Higbee OD, FAAO
Dr. Genna Higbee grew up in northeast Ohio and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry. Following graduation, Dr. Higbee also completed a post-graduate ocular disease residency at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia where she worked in various aspects of the profession including neuro-optometry, glaucoma and retina clinics, pediatrics, developmental disability clinic, and served as a clinical attending for optometry students. In 2018, after meeting rigorous qualifications, Dr. Higbee received her fellowship from The American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). In addition to working at CustomEyes, Dr. Higbee provided on-location school examinations in Chicago Public Schools for several years. As a provider, she values staying up-to-date with the latest ocular research and contact lens technology as well as communication and patient education.
In her free time, Genna enjoys exploring the city, outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Julie Klein OD
Dr. Julie Klein was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She completed her Bachelor’sof Science degree at the University of Manitoba. After her undergrad, she continued her education at the Illinois College of Optometry and has lived in Chicago ever since!
During her time at ICO, Dr. Klein completed her clinical rotations at the IllinoisEye Institute, the West Palm Beach Veterans Hospital and private surgical practices in both Lexington, Kentucky and Oak Park, Illinois.
Dr. Klein has a special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease; she loves taking care of all patients and providing comprehensive care.
In addition, Dr. Klein enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants in the city, traveling and spending time with family.

Dr. Kevin Pfeiffer OD
Dr. Kevin Pfeiffer was raised in central Illinois, but has been a Chicago resident for 6 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University and earned his doctorate degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. As a student, Kevin worked in various private practices, VA hospitals and O.D./M.D practices specializing in several retinal and corneal conditions.
Dr. Pfeiffer is passionate about taking the time to work with patients who present challenging contact lens and binocular vision cases. He enjoys treating pediatric patients and ensuring the whole family’s vision and ocular needs are met. Dr. Pfeiffer believes community outreach is a vital part of any successful practice.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing tennis, exploring Chicago’s many neighborhoods, cooking new recipes, and travelling to different parts of the world.

Dr. Sadie Sholl OD
Dr. Sadie Sholl was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Biology at North Dakota State University. She then made her way to Chicago to earn her Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry.
Throughout her time at ICO, Dr. Sholl completed clinical rotations at the Central Western Massachusetts VA, the University of Kentucky and a private clinic in Austin,Texas before returning to the Chicagoland area to practice.
Dr. Sholl is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care to all of her patients and ensuring their vision and ocular health needs are met.
In her free time, Sadie enjoys trying new coffee shops and bakeries, catching a Chicago sports game and playing catch with her rescue pup.
Dr. Michael Sculley OD
Originally from New York, Dr. Sculley attended the University of Vermont before coming to Chicago to attend the Illinois College of Optometry.
While a student at ICO, he worked as an assistant at the University of Chicago to some of the nation's top Ophthalmologists. After working at a chain optical during college, Dr Sculley wanted to open his own practice so he could make the best decisions for his patients rather than listen to corporate directives. In 2003, Dr. Sculley and Dr. Crumbliss opened the first CustomEyes location in Southport.
Dr. Sculley currently serves as a board member of the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce. He is a regular at Wrigley Field and enjoys traveling with family and friends. He currently resides in Roscoe Village with his wife and twin daughters.

Dr. Sarah Rankin OD
Dr. Sarah Rankin was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.
After graduation she practiced in Monterey, California, at a multi-specialty ophthalmology group for seven years, gaining experience with soft, gas permeable and specialty contact lenses. She also served on the board of the Monterey Bay Optometric Association as its Education Director for six years.
Sarah lives in Logan Square with her husband and daughter. She enjoys going to museums, trying new breweries and chatting about movies, TV, books and podcasts.

Dr. Jessica Katsevman OD
Dr. Jessica Katsevman grew up in Northbrook, IL and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then continued her education at the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 2023.
During her time at ICO, she completed externships in a corporate setting, a private practice, and an OD/MD practice in the suburbs of Chicago, allowing her to gain experience treating and managing a variety of ocular conditions. She enjoys providing comprehensive eye care as well as managing and treating dry eye.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She finds it rewarding to be able to help patients with all their eye care needs and is looking forward to meeting patients of all ages at CustomEyes!

Dr. Huma Jeelani OD
Dr. Huma Jeelani grew up in Naperville, IL and received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Benedictine University. While attending school, she discovered her interest in eye care while working at an optometrist’s office. She then went on to attend the Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL and received her Doctor of Optometry Degree. Her training includes significant experience in hard and soft contact lenses and eye disease management, including cataracts, dry eyes, diabetes, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Dr. Jeelani has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has significant experience in pre and post-operative management of laser vision correction patients.
Dr. Jeelani lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband and daughter. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and trying out the best pizza and steakhouses in the city.
