Meet The Team
Dr. Tania Escobar OD
Dr. Escobar was born in El Salvador and raised in Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She then completed a Community Health Optometry residency at Cherry Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive eye care and ocular disease management. Before relocating to Chicago, she practiced for two years in a full-scope clinic in north Texas.
Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Escobar provides comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages as well as contact lens fittings, dry eye management, and ocular disease diagnosis, coordinating referrals when needed. Fluent in English and Spanish, she prioritizes patient education and evidence-based care.
She lives in Wrigleyville with her husband and their dog and enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
