Your comprehensive eye exam is an important step in maintaining optimal vision health. To ensure that your visit is as successful and thorough as possible, it pays to be properly prepared. Here are our recommendations on how to prepare for your comprehensive eye exam.
Before Your Appointment
Before heading in for the appointment, make sure you have all of the necessary information ready. This includes your vision AND medical insurance cards, a list of any current medications that you’re taking, and your most up to date glasses prescription or contact lens box (in case you’re wearing contacts). Additionally, if there are any particular questions or issues related to your eyesight that you would like addressed during the appointment, make sure to note these down before arriving so they can be discussed with the doctor.
Once You Arrive
Once you arrive at the appointment, the doctor will begin your comprehensive eye exam. It is important to take each step of the exam seriously and answer any questions asked by the doctor as accurately and honestly as possible. Doing so will ensure that you get a complete and accurate diagnosis of your eyesight.
By following these recommendations, you can make sure that your comprehensive eye exam is as successful and thorough as possible. With proper preparation, you can be sure that your vision health is in good hands.
