Meet The Team
Dr. Scott Hansen OD
Dr. Scott Hansen grew up in Orland Park, Illinois and completed his undergraduate studies at Augustana College in Rock Island IL. He then completed his Doctorate of Optometry studies at Illinois College of Optometry. While attending ICO, Dr. Hansen trained in various practice settings including a VA hospital in Alabama, an O.D./M.D. practice in Arizona, and small private practices in Illinois. He studied a wide variety of eye conditions but discovered a passion for treating patients with dry eye and managing myopia in children.
Scott and his wife reside in the southwest suburbs with their two hairless cats, Moira and Mezzi. Scott enjoys playing pickleball, grilling/cooking, and looking for new fishing spots. He never misses a Bears game and catches Cubs games as often as possible.

Please note that our Downers Grove location does not have an on-site optical lab, so glasses orders are sent out for processing rather than completed same-day. Your optician can walk you through expected turnaround time when you order.
